2023-2024 Scholarships

Thank you to all applicants! New applications to our 2023-2024 Scholarship are now closed.

This year's awards will not be presented at a W. Reymont Foundation ceremony. Instead, scholarships will be awarded at Polish cultural events close to the scholarship recipient's place of residence (or in extenuating circumstances, mailed).

2022 Award Recipients

Candidate criteria:

  • Open to students of Polish descent
  • Students must be either Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents
  • Applicants must have completed at least one year of post-secondary studies

Selection criteria:

  • Scholarships are awarded primarily on the basis of scholastic achievement
  • Involvement of the applicant in student, youth and other recognized volunteer organizations (not limited to Polish organizations)
  • Involvement of the applicant, parents, and/or grandparents in the organizational life of the Polish community
  • Scholarships can be granted a maximum of three (3) times to the same person

Bursaries are also awarded to students with a difficult financial situation
